We had to make the heart-breaking decision to have to say goodbye to our "pirate" kitty, Chloe, after 16+ years of a challenging but wonderful life. Even though it was very difficult, everyone I interacted with was so wonderful and soothing...it made a pretty horrible experience seem far more comforting. Coming into our home was appreciated so Chloe could be comfy on her favorite sofa on her favorite blanket while we said goodbye was a godsend...so much better than a clinical vet's office.
I would definitely recommend Angels Paws to anyone in need their services. We were so very sad, but can't imagine a better way of dealing with this than with this truly wonderful organization.
How do I even express the gratitude I have for Tammy and her staff at Angel's Paws?! They went ABOVE and BEYOND when our sweet fur baby, "Captain Jack" was diagnosed with an aggressive canine cancer. They called, came to my home and literally walked beside me through one of the hardest times of my life which was to say goodbye to my companion of 15 years. "Thank you" is not enough but expressed from my core... thank you! I am now spreading the word to everyone I know who has a beloved pet about Angel's Paws because, the day will come when you must say "good-bye". There is no better way to transition a pet than in your own home, where you can grieve in your own way, keep your pet comfortable/non-stressed and be surrounded by family who love you and your fur-baby.?! As far as I'm concerned, calling Angel's Paws" is not an option but a necessity in the care of a beloved pet!
Our Hunter was the only dog my husband David and I had ever owned as a married couple. Our 14 1/2 year old "puppy" was such a sweetheart and our sons begged us to get a dog when they were teenagers and we finally gave in after our 18 year old cat passed away. He was the first to greet us whether we were coming home from work/school or just getting out of the shower. If he was away from us for 10 minutes or all day he always was just as thrilled as if we'd been gone for days. After David and I became empty nesters he and his little kitty cat brother got ALL the attention and he loved it! When he was diagnosed with severe anemia in June 2017 our vet put him on meds to try to help out but they didn't quite do the trick and his health declined quickly. I had heard of Angel's Paws thru friends at work and had suggested them to my dad, just 5 days prior to our dog's passing, and he couldn't say enough good things about them. I knew it was the only choice for Hunter when his time came because he HATED going to the vet so I wasn't going to put him thru the trauma of bringing him outside his comfort zone and the only home he'd ever known filled with love. I had called to make the appointment on a Saturday but the next morning he had rallied and actually ate some breakfast and walked up our long driveway and back with no problems so needless to say I couldn't do it that day and called to cancel the appointment which Helen was more than understanding. But just 2 hours later Hunter had taken a big turn for the worse so I knew I had no choice but to see if they could still do it that day. They went out of their way to have Dr Kate stop at our house after her appointment in Harrison, and she was wonderful, understanding and very professionally soothing. If we ever have to make that heart breaking decision again, we won't hesitate to call Angel's Paws and I will sing their praises as long as I live. Thank God there's services like this out there for our beloved fur babies in our final act of love. God Bless You All!!!
I lost my little Trixie last month. She had been sick for a very long time. When I heard about Angel's Paws I immediately contacted them. When they came to examine Trixie she was having a good day, Of course.
I signed up anyway. My greatest fear was that she was going to need help dying on a weekend and there would be no where to take her or to take her and add to her trauma. Well that is exactly what happened. When it was time for Trixie it was 7:00 on a Saturday night. When I made the call someone was at my house in a matter of minutes. Through the process Trixie never had to leave the home or my arms. We were signed up for about 5 months and during that time the doctors and techs took over Trixies's care. No more Vet visits! A couple of times they used a medication to just help her get through a few bad days.
When I had to leave town and put Trixie in the care of someone else it was great peace of mind knowing that they also could call Angel's Paw any time of the day or night.
I can't say enough good things about Tammy and her company. I am sending everyone I know your way! God bless.
We were so happy to find angel paws.
Our Louis was a rescue from hurricane
Katrina, he gave us unconditional love.
Having kind people come to your home
Was amazing. Laurie their vet was a blessing the compassion she showed for us and Louis. This was the best decision we could have made.❤️
