Sunday, September 10, – 2-4pm- Pet Memorial Day, @ Angel’s Paws
*This is a beautiful opportunity to reflect and celebrate the special relationship you enjoyed with your pets. Come together as pet parents to officially recognize National Pet Memorial Day and receive a small memento! Ceremony at 2:30p.m.
Thursday, September 14th, 2017, 6-7:30pm (and every other week for 4 Sessions)- Soul Pet Book Club @Angel’s Paws – “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande
*This will be a facilitated group and we will be taking a deep dive into loss and grief, through thoughtful discussions about books on death and the possibility of an afterlife. This may sound depressing but I assure you this will be a very uplifting approach. We will switch each 4 week session between a pet-focused book and human-focused book, so keep checking back for future books!
The Soul Pet book series is a facilitated group and the fee is $10 per person per session, plus the cost of the book. After the 4-week session we will have a social gathering to debrief, socialize and connect with others interested in joining the next Soul Pet session.
RSVP to email@example.com Please pre-read the first 60 pages of the book for the first meeting.
Thursday, November 9th, 2017, 6-7:30pm – Soul Pet Social Gathering @Angel’s Paws
*In between Soul Pet Book Club sessions, we will take an evening to have a social gathering to enjoy each others company, debrief on the book and meet others interested in joining the next session. We will charge our normal $10 fee to cover staffing costs to have our building open during that time and some light refreshments.
